FRANCA MASU'S CARTOONISTS Antonello Lutzoni and Mario Fundoni - comic strip creators, graphic designers and illustrators - live and work in Sardinia, in the city of Porto Torres. They have dedicated their talents to comic strips since 1992, and, after long apprenticeship, entered into the prestigious archives of Bonelli Editore with a proposal for the "Nathan Never" series in 1996. The year 1998 saw the beginning of long-standing collaborations as cartoonists and illustrators with some the island's best magazines ("Sardegna e Dintorni", "L'Isola" and "In Città"). Between 1998 and 2000 they produced a comic strip history of the traditional Sassarese religious festival of the "Candelieri", including a meticulously researched appendix illustrating various historic costumes. They have provided the artwork for science fiction author Sergio Arcas' upcoming book "MDIIII Urbinate". Their latest work is a comic strip adaptation of the Algherese singer Franca Masu's "Més a prop", a track from her CD "El meu viatge" published by the Saint Rock record company. They also executed the Saint Rock logo, from the original sketch by Mark Harris. The "Més a prop" strip is being animated for a videoclip.
