Following her appearance at the Mercat de Música Viva de Vic, thanks to the publication of her first record El meu viatge (Saint Rock), Franca Masu has turned out to be the revelation of the Catalan chançon d'auteur. The Algherese singer has been hailed as one of the key musical reference points on the Catalan panorama, and presents in this work a fine selection from Algherese poets Antoni Arca and Antonello Colledanchise, plus two writings by Catalan poet Carles Duarte, over a Mediterranean-rooted musical backing open to new trends from jazz and pop.
